I have got some really bad adult acne going on. I feel like I'm sixteen. I have really sensitive combination skin and need recs on what to do. Recommend your skin products pls.
Any proactive users out there? I'm considering giving it a shot...it seems like nothing is fixing my issue.
Re: recommend your facial products
I have been using Proactive for about a year and a half. I used it in my early twenties as well, but somehow my face just stayed clear after I stopped using it. Anyway, this last time using it, my face started to break out again pretty bad a month or so ago. I thought the proactive wasn't working anymore, so I bought that Clean and Clear Acne kit. That didn't seem to work, so last night, I switched back to the Proactive and my face is already clearer. I guess I just needed a break. I think it's pretty good, but it's had to get off if it (Proactive). I've heard your skin gets addicted to it and when you go off your face could be even worse than before.
ETA: If you do try Proactive keep in mind that it can bleach out towels and stuff. So, be sure to wash your hands really well after using it or use a towel that you don't mind getting splotchy. I had a few that had bleach prints that were shaped like hands.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
I actually just got this Stress/Acne treatment stuff that's Neutrogena. It's a light blue color and it's in a tube. You use it on the break out areas and can use it up to 3 times a day. It's very mild. Haven't had any problems with it at all. I put on at night only. Then if I wake up with a break out, I put some on the problem area, and by the end of the day it's smaller. Then put it on at night again and by the next day it's gone. HTH.
Clean and Clear never works for me either. I use to use that stuff. Now that I use the Neutrogena stuff, I don't need anything else. I haven't tried Proactive yet though.
