Don't feel like crap. That book is crap. I think I know one woman IRL who actually was back to her prepregnancy weight that quickly. And she was always super skinny.
Everything I see says it takes as long to take off as it did to put on so 40 weeks. But the key is to stop eating like you are pregnant which many (me included with #1) dont do.
Really? Who wrote that book and I second the idea to burn the book. Most of what I have read and people that I have talked to including my my doc told me not to even think about weight loss until after 6 weeks and that it is a gradual process. Just goes to show that anyone get write and publish a book.
Well IMO that book sucks! I am nearly 3 years PP and still holding on to that weight (about 25lbs)! I did lose all but 4 of the 39 I gained with #2 at 10 wks pp.
I want to be in single diget pants sizes again damn it! 3 more to go
But what does it say about getting things back into the right places? That's my biggest issue right now - not the weight exactly, but getting things to fit me again
Re: At 3 months, you should be back to your pp weight
I really thought that this was a judgy statement and I was ready to come in here and flame.
That book is a load of crap. I gained the recommended amount of weight (gradually), I am EBFing, and I still have 10lbs to lose.

Don't feel like crap! Everyone is different.
