Just got back from our (cancelled) birth class...

Know what we learned??

"Code Black" means get your asses in the most interior hallways and take cover. That was fun.

They had to move all the patients into hallways, there were nurses and other staff scattering around like crazy people getting moved! Then we just got to sit and sit and sit in the halls, not knowing what the heck was going on in the outside world. :(

They lifted the Code and we hauled butt home to let the dogs in.. our neighborhood (in Leander, just north of CP) looks good, no big limbs down or anything.

    While we were holed up at home, I was thinking what if this had hit while we were in the hospital just a few days ago?  What a nightmare that would have been!  It was scary enough being at home and able to move around freely.  I would have gone mad being stuck in a hospital bed with no control over what was happening with my babies.  Ugh, how frightening.

    Glad you guys got out of there and made it home safely.
