Is this very common? I didnt have it when I got pg w/ Ollie, so I'm not sure what its like. Is it like spotting? Or like the beginning of a period? Thanks!!!

I did spot when I was pregnant with Ben. Right when I should have gotten my period. And it totally felt like I was getting my period. I odn't know if that was "implantation bleeding" or just regular old spotting. I don't really understand the idea of implantation bleeding actually. It's not like the egg "crashes" into your uterus and would disrupt the lining enough to bleed. I haven't ever seen a real explanation for it.

Well, from what I've read, the fertilized egg releases an enzyme that eats away at the uterine lining so that it can burrow in. I assume that the bleeding is from the lining that gets displaced? (I realize it's a tiny amount, so maybe that's not it.)
(TMI to follow)...I had the faintest bit of implantation bleeding. I just noticed a pinkish tint when I wiped.
Thanks ladies! I did some reading too, and I think what I have is possibly ovulation spotting (?). I think its too early for implantation bleeding, since my last period ended about 2 weeks ago. Either that, or I am having another period, but I dont know if its even possible to have another so soon.

We use condoms, usually. We would be fine if I was pg, I was just hoping to get thru the summer before ttc, since I was hugely pg last summer I want to enjoy the sunshine and not be hugging the toilet this year! I am hoping to start charting, if my cycles are regulated. I really dont want to go back on anything hormonal, since I get really bad side effects (tons of nausea, etc). even on the lowest dose.
