Creamy CM after O?

Any of you guys have creamy or watery CM for more than a few days after O?  TCOYF says it can mean PCOS but doesn't say much else except that CM is supposed to dry up within a day or 2 of O.

TIA Wink

Re: Creamy CM after O?

  • I've had it this time and this is my first real cycle with this type of CM after O.  Last cycle I thought I had some creamy mixed in with spotting, but now I realize I was wrong!  I posted this same question and everyone responded that it isn't a real sign of concern.

  • This computer is awful.  Didn't even hit enter and it posted the above blank reply, sorry!  Anyways, I googled it and saw a lot of forums where women swore their creamy CM was during their BFP cycle.  I guess it varies from person to person, just got a little freaked by the lack of info on it being normal in TCOYF.

Don't stress. ?My creamy CM started after O and just kept increasing until my BFP... and after. ?GL.?

creamy is not fertile...I actually have creamy almost all month long (except for period and EWCM & watery fertile days).

your fertile CM should dry up after O.

I also had a "skim milk" CM after O...this is also creamy (not fertile).

Same here. I have creamy CM pretty much every day that I don't have my period or fertile CM.

According to TCOYF creamy, milky, and lotiony CM (pre-O) are fertile, prob much less so than watery or ECWM...

  • I had a ton of ewcm for a few days after O this cycle, which I thought was weird and it throws me off wondering ... no creamy for me though ... mostly dry or sticky.

Ditto this. That was the only thing different when I got my BFP.

Ok...well - I guess for me creamy is not really fertile since I do get EWCM and watery...I guess for ladies who don't get EW or watery, creamy is fertile for them.

    Ditto.

I got a BFP with this too.

  • Thanks so much for responding guys!  Here's some cookies! Winkcoooookies!

If I get a BFP I'll be super surprised (bc we really weren't trying), but we'll see what happens.
