stupid BeBe sounds monitor

it sucks. I can't hear a hb. I hear something, but it's hard to tell.

Seriously, I think I am just going to go to Urgent Care and go to the radiology dept. again to get an u/s...just to put my mind at ease.

    How low are you looking? 

    At 15W you would have to look right near your pelvic bone.

    At 13 weeks I was carrying 4 inches higher than expected and they found the HB by my belly button... did you look higher?

    I started bleeding this week again and they found out I had a hemorhagge. I am home on bed rest but i don't see the dr. again until next week. My sister got me a heart monitor thingy and I can't hear anything...I know they aren't the best, but still

    Are you using the big mike w/ headphones? The h/b probably can't be heard by that right now, baby's too small. Hope you can get some reassurance either way.

    I have that one and it was really hard to hear his HB until about 20w.  If you're very concerned just go to urgent care.  You're never wrong when you're worried about your baby!  :-)

    the mic is attached to the actual thing, but it has headphones. I am going to wait until the office opens again (they take LONG lunches) and then go to the radiology dept.

    Is that the little microphone thingy they sell at BRU? We bought that and it wasn't until we got it all opened we were able to read that it doesn't work until the beginning of the 3rd tri. Guess we should have known it was too good to be true.

    I'd totally go to urgent care and get a u/s if I were you! With your history and the bleeding I'd get it checked out even though I'm sure everything will be fine. It's worth it to ease your mind.
