How do you "fire" a hair stylist your really like?

I really like my stylist.  But she is super slow.  I am there for hours for cut and color.  I also like to get my brows waxed by my stylist.  But she works in a Spa setting and they have the asteticians (sp?) do them.  So last time I had to leave without brows because the other girl was busy and I couldn't wait.  With a full time job I want to get home for my baby.

I want someone who is fast (but good) and can do my brows while I process.

She will likely contact me if I don't call back.  What do I say?

    Just make an appointment with someone else.

    I don't understand, really. If I'm unhappy with a hairstylist I just go to someone else. You don't "owe" her anything, not even an explanation, IMO. I'm sure she doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that if a client goes to someone else it's because she was unhappy. If she calls, say "I've decided to go with another stylist".

    I would probably just say "I'm sorry, I'm going in a different direction with my hair.  Thanks for all the time you've put into my har." and leave it at that.

      this & if she calls, just tell her due to time constraints you needed to find someone more efficient.  or you can not answer, that's probably what I would do!

    I've switched stylists like 4 times in the past 4 years because I can't find one that I'm really into.  I don't say anything at all I just don't go back.  So far, no problems.
