If you used Gonal F, some questions

First of all congrats! ? ?I have a couple of questions regarding Gonal F and I have found this board to be the most helpful. ? ?I have done my 6 rounds of clomid with no success, moved to Gonal F. ? ?I did 1 months of 75, 2 months of 112 with no success. ? ?In fact, the most recent month (this one) my progest level was only 1.7 after all that....yeah it was bad. ? ? Needless to say, I am back at it again. ? ?I went to the Dr today and he has upped the medication to 150 and we are going to do back to back IUI's this time (this will be the first doing b2b).

If you have taken this medication, what was the reason for taking it? ? ? What dose were you on when you finally got your BFP? ? ? Did you do this in conjunction with IUI? ?

I have one DD, who I consider such a miracle after going through all this for her sibling! ? ? I used 50 mg of clomid and iui with her and now all this. ? Anyway, thank you in advance for any information you have. ? ?I just hope this month is a success for us

I believe I was on 75 of Gonal F toobut it did take 7 IVF's for me. Are you getting many follicles? I think there wa sa problem with fertilization for me because the first time they tried assisted hatching I got pregnant with quads which are now triplets. Good luck to you!

I did between 75-112 ius of Gonal F for IUI. They would vary it within a cycle depending on my e2 levels. My RE was looking for me to produce 1-2 good follies, no more, and I produced 1. I did b2b IUIs, but didn't get pg. We ended up gettting pg with IVF. I took between 112- 225 ius of Gonal F for my IVF cycle. Again, they varied it within the cycle depending on my e2 levels and the number of follicles. I am not a great responder and, of course, for IVF we were trying to get lots more mature follies! I ended up with 14 mature eggs retrieved after 13 days of stims. Our diagnosis was MFI and ovulatory dysfunction. I always ovulated, but sometimes I wouldn't release the egg until it had been sitting there mature for days and days, which affects egg quality.

I was on 150 - 225 iu's of Gonal-F twice a day but we did ivf. I took it for 5 days. My progesterone was always on the low side. I took progesterone injections nightly for many weeks. And was on progesterone suppositories for a few weeks, 3x a day.

i did gonal f 150-225 for 8 days, i think. i did 6 rounds of clomid and responded nicely, just no success. for the gonal f cycle i did one IUI about 40 hours after triggering.

I did 150-225 of Gonal F and did 2 IUIs to conceive our twins. That was after numerous cycles of Clomid and other injectibles that didn't work for us.

Thank you for your feedback. ? Yeah, I have been getting bwtn 3-4 good follies each time but no success so far. ? ?Apparently the prog of 1.7 is what is doing it for me. ? ?I asked the nurse about suppliments with shots, etc and she said that they cannot do anything. ? ? I currently get a shot of prog each time during the 2ww but that has not been enough either. ? ?

They are hoping that the additional med's will produce more follies and up the prog levels. ? ?
