Success after IF

ds is a boob man!

I wrote the other day that he was snapping my bra over and over and over, well now he's started playing and pinching my nipples when he's done nursing! I usually give him time to decide if he's done, but now he's decided that's play time.  And it hurts!!

What have I created? lol SmileSurpriseWink

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Re: ds is a boob man!

  • I'm still nursing an almost 15 month old and he has been doing the exact same thing for months!  I can't stop it and he just gets frustrated and mad when I try to hold his hands down, so I just let him do it.  I get daily titty twisters and DH just rolls his eyes!  Yesterday, I got dressed too fast for Patrick and apparently he wasn't done with my breasts, so he reached his hand down my shirt, into my bra to try and pull the boob out.  I drew the line there though...  Oh- I just keeps getting better!  Good thing I still view them as a food source and think nothing of it!

  • You know what's funny?   Occasionally I'll be topless getting Jack dressed (if he and I take a bath together, not because I just run around topless and randomly change diapers that way) and he reaches for my nips!  To which I say "oh no, you cashed that chip in mister!"

So he settles for squeezing and mashing his little wee instead.  I think they just love anything squishy at this age as they are discovering more and more tactile sensations.  Crazy babies!

    Wheee!

  • Melissa, Oh my, the nipple tweaking is driving me NUTS. Rowan does it all the time now and sometimes I've just had it!
  • Yup- I just find it easier not to fight it.  God forbid I cover the boob with the other side of my bra.  He MUST find a way to get to the other side to squeeze and twist while he nurses.  I am pretty sure that he is nearing his BF days though.  He is losing interest in actually nursing :-(
