Rec. a good prefold roll for boys, please.

Can anyone recommend a good roll to try for boys? If I do keep going with prefolds in a proper size (now that I've figured out the problem with ours) I think I would need some suggestions on what kind of roll to use. I can look up techniques on google but thought I'd see if anyone had any BTDT advice for what works well with boys in particular. Or just to tell me that it doesn't really make a difference!

Oh, and one more prefold ? - can you stuff them?

    The Angel Wing Fold is my favorite - lots of layers in the front for absorbency and a good poop catcher too.

    Oh and I forgot the other part of your question! You can't actually stuff them but if you need more absorbency for overnight or something you can add a doubler (just not microfiber - it shouldn't touch skin) between baby and prefold or between prefold and cover.

    yeah i guess i used stuff when i meant use a doubler. i'm still getting used to all the terms!

    thanks for telling me about the microfiber - i didn't know it shouldn't be against the skin.  and i will look at that link and the angel roll as well.

    The reason you should avoid microfiber against the skin is because of it's nature and because it's so absorbent it will actually pull the moisture right out of your kiddo's skin and can really irritate or give a nasty rash. You can use a smaller size prefold trifolded as a doubler or there are bamboo or hemp options which will add a lot of extra absorbency too.
