Anyone used Vagisil Screening Kit? (TMI) same as 2nd Tri

Has anyone ever used this product? Something funky is going on down south.WARNING TMI: my symptoms are: Lime green discharge that smells foul, salty and after sex even though I'll wash myself I smell kind of fishy. It doesn't itch or burn so I know it can't be a yeast infection. I just thought about using it to see what it says. I have an appointment tomorrow so I don't know if I should just wait until then but call the Dr.'s office to see if they can check me down there, even though I already had my pap done this year.

    Call your OB, it sounds like BV (bacterial vaginosis) and most likely needs treatment.  All the screening kit will tell you is the pH of your discharge - which your OB will want to check anyhow.  It does NOT sound like yeast....

    I have not used it but on the box it says not intended for use on pregnant women so I dont know if that is just to cover their butts in case its wrong or if that warning is there for another reason. They dont go into more explanation than that so I dont know. I guess if you are going to the doctors tomorrow anyways it is ok for you to use the test if you want that piece of mind but your doctor should look into that for you tomorrow so I guess it is up to you.

    ditto perfectpeach.  I would call your doctor as soon as you can and don't bother with the test.

    edit:  I didn't read that you had an appointment for tommorrow.  I would just ask then.
