The woman who sits next to me REFUSES to make eye contact with me. (and it's not just me, other people have observed this). She will quickly look away if it accidentally happens, and she won't respond if you say "hi." And it's not like she is shy - this is a new thing, she used to be friendly. However, she has no problem staring at my computer screen every time she walks by my cube. WTF. It makes nesting much more difficult.

    Ohhh....this news to me. I like this trick. I usually keep the screen tiny with something else (like a spreadsheet) behind it so I can quickly click on the spreadsheet if someone walks by.

    I am obviously not quick enough, though, because one of my co-irkers once said to me "you know, you don't need to minimize your internet every time I walk by!"

    It's a nice trick,  but be sure you don't have 2 internets up,  switching quickly to another does not help.

    Though, I do have times when people want to show me something on the internet, and so when I pull it up, it's the Bump. I have to quickly close the window to and make new.

    This is why I have to keep a few windows open.  To click to the one that is just yahoo or google
