any time he calls he thinks that DS is just being bratty. I tried to expain to him at at 2 months he has no concept of being a brat and that hell yeah, that time will come, but right now when he cries he has a basic need that needs to be met, not to mention that he has a cold and is not his happiest.
sorry just had to vent, it is driving me crazy that he keeps calling him a brat and he is such a good kid too, he rarely gets upset. I think it is just that DH has not been around an infant before DS so he has no concept, but still...ugggg. it just drives me insane!!
Re: DH thinks DS is being a "brat"
My mom likes to say, "Oh I think somebody has a temper!"
or the best one, "Check out that tantrum!"
:::::sigh::::::
Your husband is calling his own son a brat while he's sick. That's awesome...
Yeah Dh would get a throat punch for that.
He can't talk! Even my 2 year old is still learning how to communicate and when whining she is experimenting with communication to get her needs met.
I would have said, "DC is not being a brat, he is being a baby, this is a brat! *click*"

if anyone were to dare call my 2 month old a brat, we'd have serious issues.
that may be grounds for the "come to Jesus" meeting.
ditto!
