I know it's a belly pic - and a great belly at that - really, you look great.

It's just the mess that's behind it. It caught my eye and apparently someone else's as well. Yes, I have times when my house is a mess, I just prefer not to show it to the world. Different strokes.

Maybe we should all start taking set designing classes before we take a picture, so it meets their expectations ha!! Don't let them get to you. Eff em. It's your pic you look great that's all that should matter.

I'm guessing it's the fact that your house is a freakin' mess, and you're about to bring your kid home to a cluttered (and I assume dusty) house.

I'm not saying my house is 100% dust free, and when things aren't put away, I'm not going to take pictures and show how messy my house is.

TWhen you post a picture,people tend to notice the biggest thing in the room. Which, in this case, is not your charming belly but the mess all around and behind it.

By all means, do not clean this up. It looks exactly like my basement storage space, minus the catboxes.

Our house is far from perfect. But I can generally find a clean wall/area to stand near that hides the clutter.

I don't post pictures of myself or my house that I don't think are flattering.

Obviously if you don't care, that's your perogotive. But surely you can understand why most people would avoid general clutter that detracts from a picture.
