Friendly's ice cream

...was free today! Yup, a whole scoop.

My mom and I actually met there for lunch and pedicures. We had to dodge people who were waiting for their free ice cream. There were some charmers, that's for sure. 

when the waitress asked if we wanted to be seated I said "Yes, we are actually going to be one of your few paying customers today". She laughed, but I kind of felt like a ***. We did partake in some ice cream too, but to be fair, my meal came with it anyhow.

    Mmmm, Friendly's is the best but the only time I can get it is when I go back to CT for vacation. The food kind of sucks but the sundaes are great, I'll be taking DS for a clown sundae when we go back in July. Too bad we missed free ice cream day.
