"I hope your arms get fat"

So, I've always been tall and thin. ?I never had to worry too much about gaining weight blah blah blah. ?While I was out to eat with my BFF, she introduced me to a new friend and this friend had not lost her baby weight ( from her 3 year old) ?She was pretty sweet, until we got on the subject of losing it and how gaining the weight has been my biggest fear she says " Well I just hope you're one of the one's who's arms get really fat during pregnancy."

And left it at that.

Why? ?Why would you say something like that, at all? ?To any one??

    Sounds like she's just jealous that you're pg and still looking fab! What kind of a biotch would wish a bad figure or weight gain on a pg woman? Ignore her!

    Her comment was totally out of line. But.....I'm sure she was pretty sensitive to the weight issue if she has had so much trouble with it and was just jealous. You are obviously very skinny and it's not always fun to hear skinny girls talk about weight gain. Of course, if she brought up the subject then she should just deal with it when you talk about your weight.

    Yeah, it always makes me uncomfortable when bigger girls talk about their weight to me.. I never know what to say. ?and she had said it was soooo hard for her to lose the weight blah blah blah and I said it was one of my biggest worries (other than birht) and there was said arm comment.?

    I'm not worrying about it too much, it was just kind of shocking!!?
