Does anyone know where this paint is sold, besides ordering online?

    Wal-Mart has both. I saw it there the other day, and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever!

    I'm pretty sure Lowe's carries the chalkboard paint, I don't know about magnetic though.

    Sorry - lurking on 3rd tri.

    I've seen both at the local Benjamin Moore store. Try a specialty paint shop in your area.

    Home Depot and Lowe's in my area carry both. I think the magnetic treatment might be with the specialty paints, though (like the spray paints and window frost treatments and stuff).

    AHHHHHH!!!!!  please consider the dust a chalkboard will make in your home before creating one on the wall.  I am a teacher and will promptly throw away anything given to my child that includes chalk.  Even if you use it here and there, it makes a dusting film on EVERYTHING!  I think you can just buy magnetic paint if you were wondering.

    I thought of that too.  And am worried she would learn to write on the walls.  I am leaning more towards the magnetic paint to hang her drawings, etc without putting holes in the wall.  Thanks for the information though, very good point.
