Babyfit.com makes me sad

I just entered what I had to eat for yesterday and today, depressing, on the low side of most things. Last night went to Red Lobster for dinner, I thought for sure entering all the stuff I ate there would put me over the recommended calorie intake, nope.

Looks like I am going to have to eat more.  Grrr, it is times like this I wish this time around I could eat all the sweet/sugar things I ate while pg with DS.  This time around sweets/sugary stuff make me feel like I am going to puke.

  • I thought you were going to be sad b/c you were eating too many calories :) I have been the same way this time around... maybe we are both having girls????? With DS I couldn't get enough sweets, this time I have to make myself eat just about anything. Not too much sounds good.?

    ?

**There is a fresh baked dutch apple pie on my counter not even touched. Last pregnancy that thing would have been gone in 3 min flat**?

  • I'd be careful - People tend to VASTLY underestimate the calories in a restaurant meal.  One dinner out can have more than your recommended calories for an entire day due to all the hidden fats, oils, butter, etc.  You can't assume that the calories in grilled chicken you make at home are the same as a restaurant.  FYI.

Yep, for instance, just one of those Red Lobster cheddar biscuits is about 150 calories.  Here's the rest of their nutritional info if you'd like to double check BabyFit's calorie counts

  • I just entered my meals from yesterday and I was still 200-500 calories off and I did not eat healthy be any means yesterday. Bruegger's for breakfast and Olive Garden for lunch (complements of a contest we won at work). I thought for sure this would send me over but it didn't. So I'll try again today to meet the goal. I'm impressed that they list fast food/restaurant meals on there to keep better track. Good luck!!

I entered in Red Lobsters info for the food I ate while entering what I ate since it wasn't already on babyfits list.  I had three of those yummy biscuits.
