If you got BFP with injectables...

How many follicles did you trigger? ?I am on my first cycle of Gonal-F and was really hoping I'd get more than one mature follicle, but I only got one. Just wondering if my chances this cycle are any better than my previous 3 Clomid cycles, since I've only had one each time. ?And I know multiple follicles increase the chance of at least ONE being fertilized...?

But I shouldn't be disappointed, right? ??

I only had 1 mature follicle.

But had 4 total.

18, 15, 15, and 15.

My boys are not identical.

My first pregnancy I had 2 mature follicles. Unfortunately, that pg ended in m/c. This pregnancy I triggered with only 1 mature follie! I had the same concern as you but it really does happen!

hey lady! i PM'd you after seeing your post on TTTC...i got pg with the boys after my first cycle with Gonal-F...

i only had one follie that was mature at trigger, and only 2 more that were anywhere near close..and those 2 caught up and all three fertilized! ?

It's quality not quantity so don't be disappointed! I only had two and they both fertilized. It was my first injectibiles cycle too and I think what made the difference was that my lining was so much better than it was on Clomid. I hope the same is true for you. Good luck!

I love the SAIFW badge in your siggy! I actually had 5 to 6 mature or close to maturing follicles for my successful IUI. I was a little worried about high order multiples, but fortunately we ended up with a singleton. You should not be disappointed with only one though! It's all about the quality. Good luck!

I had 1 mature follice at 21 another at 16...I have fraternal twins. Go figure...they thought we were going to be disappointed that I was only triggering with 1 mature follicle and go figure...I ended up with twins!

I had 2 possibly 3 (not sure if it caught up or not in time) and I had a singleton.

I think the cycle I had the least follicles was the one I got my BFP, if that makes you feel better. ?I don't remember exactly how many there were, but I just remember before the last time, feeling kind of hopeless because all the ones that had been there seemed to have disappeared. ?GL!!
