  • Good to know!  We just got our housing assignment for next year and from what we hear it's an ant haven.

As for Dr. B's "scripture", it's fabulous bathroom reading!

  • I waited two years to buy a bottle of Dr. B's because that bottle makes my head hurt.

I keep small amounts in reused bottles where I need them so that I don't have to look at it.

Do you think the almond scent would still kill things?

  • Ohh, good to know.  And I don't mind the "scripture" because it really does make good bathroom reading in a pinch.  Know what kills spiders and millipedes or centipedes?  I'm not sure what it is that keeps coming over to my side, but it's always late at night and hairy looking with all the legs.

I'm not sure - probably would work for little ants.  I had read that peppermint Dr B's with water was a good spray to use on plants to kill bugs, so I figured I'd try it on our ants.

  • we have ants that need to die - is this what you're talking about?

  • I'm going to give it a try. We have awful ant problems. Even the landlord said they had never seen ants so bad. We tried everything, and they would just pop up somewhere new. The yard is even covered. We have resorted to spraying outside the house and sprinkling this crushed up seashell stuff to kill them in the yard--which didn't work for long. It's so gross. We live next to the woods, which is apparently causing the problem.
