AW: nautical nursery mural

my 17 and 21 year old sisters came over this weekend and painted a mural on the baby's wall, I think it looks great, can't wait to see it with the furniture and bedding in there!

    yes I think I am very lucky to have access to their talent. I am far from artistic and could never have done anything like this on my own!

    Your sisters did a great job.  I painted professionally for 10 years and have done numerous murals over the years (and my dad thought my art degree was a waste of money!)  Seriously, I have seen "professionals" that can't paint as well as your sisters.  Please tell them to continue to paint, and consider charging the next customer.  Smile

    yeah I def. suggested at least painting some murals on the side to the 21 year old sister. She's an art major at Coastal Carolina and sometimes my parents give her a hard time about it but I think she really does have talent. I will definitely be paying her for her work well-done. She says she doesn't want to be paid but I remember how it was to be a college student-a little money goes a long way!

    After graduation, I found that I could make more money by painting murals than doing a commisioned painting on canvas.  And yes, my dad gave me alot of grief about my major as well.  Tell her to hang in there!
