Do you remember all the old jingles from commercials? I am eating Honey Nut Cherrios this morning and all I can think of is that jingle. Also, last week, I was getting coffee and James said he just wanted a half a cup, so I go into the "Whoa! Only half a cup"! and then I told him that Brim is decaffienated so should I fill it to the rim with Brim (not that we were drinking Brim). He was like, "huh"? and I had to send him the commercial from You Tube - he claimed to never have seen them before. Anyway, I usually remember jingles for commercials and James, I guess, never watched commercials or something. His memory is usually super good.
Anyone have an favorites they'd like to share?

Re: It's a honey of an "o"
My DH is like that, too. I'm like, "Did you grow up under a rock?! How can you not remember these?"
A couple of my favorites. Although the second one creeped me out when I was little....

Teddy Ruxpin.....remember, the story telling bear. I always wanted one, but then I saw one at a friends and it creeped me out.
And this is one from when McDonalds commercials were good...or at least entertaining..."Do you believe in magic?"

This one isnt from when I was a kid, but I saw this a few years back and while yet disturbing to some, I laugh every time I see it
Enjoy!
I was just looking at old commercials on youtube a couple days ago, since DH didn't recognize the Lite Brite song when I was singing it. Also love the Slinky song, pound puppies, my little pony, my buddy (that one was so annoying)
Do you guys remember the old Albertson's song? "it's Joe Albertson's supermarket - the change will do you good! (ding ding)" THat's one of my earliest tv memories. That and the Cal Worthington ad sung to "if you're happy and you know it." (If you wanna buy a truck, go see Cal)?
I was in an Albertsons with a girlfriend (older than me) that grew up here and I was singing that and she didn't remember it. Good one.

"whatever it is I think I see, becomes a tootsie roll to me"
And I soooo wanted a Teddy Ruxpin. My guy had one when he was a kid, and I still give him heck about it.

I don't like this one, but that didn't prevent me from singing it for almost a year!

I wondered if anyone would think of that.
James would flat out slaughter me for posting something about THAT though.
