DD sleeping on tummy?

The past two mornings I have gone in to find DD on her tummy.  She is warm on that side, so I think she's been sleeping that way for awhile.

Do I just let her sleep like that?  How do sleep positioners work?  She can roll from back to tummy, but is still working on getting the other way.  Her face also seems to be in the mattress, and she doesn't really turn her head.

Re: DD sleeping on tummy?

  • If she is fine with it, let her be. Once they start rolling sleep positioners and stuff actually become a bigger risk than a help.

  • Back to Sleep really only matters when they can't move themselves.  If she's sleeping happily, let her be.  She'll figure it out.

  • Peyton has been doing that for two weeks now and it is setting me nuts but she is sleeping better and longer on her belly. everything i read says once they can roll over they have enough head control. I still put her down on her back every night but find her on her belly when I check on her before i go to bed. I just make sure her head isn't face down in the mattress.
