Diagnosis: Coxsackie Virus

Or something like that. It's apparently what causes hand/foot/mouth disease and something else nasty-sounding called herpangina. Basically the pedi said it's a nasty sore throat with a fever that might last a couple of days.

LOVELY. I hate seeing her so miserable; won't eat, won't play. She just clings like a little sea monkey and cries every time I put her down. Wish me luck....DH just told me he's not coming back from Charlotte until tomorrow night...

I feel for you! I'm home, too, with a sick baby (fever, head cold and rash), and my dh is oot. I hope that HC feels better very soon!!

Oh that sucks! So sorry, when SC had HFM disease she was pathetic! Our pedi says its bad for a few days, hang in there.

Oh yuck- HFM has made its way around daycare a few times and so far we have been lucky enough to miss it ( KNOCK ON WOOD!) But I know it's a miserable illness for a few days! Hope it passes quick. Maybe try some popsicles to make her throat feel better?
