I think those are darling twin names! If you love them then disregard what others are saying. I can't think of a problem with these names besides them just not being someone style and that's just personal opinion. Your opinion counts the most though.
I don't see anything wrong... and I am always the one who finds something "wrong" w/ a name. lol. I like both names although I do prefer Lila vs. Lyla. It makes it more classic, like Samuel.

Samuel Jack sounds like Samuel L. Jackson, but I really don't think it's a problem because 99.9% of the people in the world aren't going to use his middle name anyway. Is Lyla prounounced "lie-luh" or "lill-uh"? If the first, then I think the spelling is fine. If the second, I would go with the Lila spelling.
Re: Samuel and Lyla
There is nothing wrong with those names at all.
I love Samuel.
Lyla is cute and a nice solid name..it's just not my style at all.
FWIW, there's essentially going to be a problem with every name...so pick out what you like and love.
And I don't know if it's tiredness or what..but I can't pick out any problems with those names.
Ditto. I don't like Samuel because I hate the name Sam and Lyla is NMS, but there isn't anything horrible about the names. ?
