Funny Convo with SS

Last week I was opening mail and groaned when I got yet another bill for Ella (seriously when do they stop!).  Aydin (my stepson) asked me what was the matter.  I told him that it was another bill from the hospital for delivering Ella.  Then we proceed with the convo below:   

A:  How much is it?
Me:  A lot
A:  More than $100?
Me:  Yes
A:  What!  You have to pay to have a baby - I can't believe that!  That's crazy....Why do you have to pay? 
Me:   You have to pay the hospital / drs / etc for your care. 
A: Well - I'm glad I can never have kids - they are waaaayyyy too expensive!  I would be broke if I had one. 

I guess he doesn't realize that the delivery charges are just the beginning...there's all their diapers, daycare, numerous toys, birthday parties, summercamp - I could go on and on...Ugh!
