Just wondering: do you kiss your kids on the mouth or cheek?

    I do both, more the cheek though. I do NOT like it if someone else would kiss her on the mouth though.

    Right now I lean in and kiss her and sometimes she turns her head and i get her lips.  I am not a big fan of kissing on the lips so we won't be doing that.

    Mouth! I come from a very affectionate family. I still kiss my sister, cousins, mom, dad on the mouth too. Just not my brothers! DH gets better and special kisses :)

    lately, kisses are on the cheek.  He has a cold, so no kisses on the mouth unless you are willing to risk a mouth full of boogs.

    Mouth.  My family kisses on the mouth, well the women anyway, just a little peck on the lips.  I don't see anything wrong with it, the kisses between my husband and I are completely different.

    Mostly on the cheek or forehead. Sometimes I get DS's mouth by accident, though.?

    It's funny, I didn't kiss him on the mouth at first, but now that I started doing eskimo kisses with him, I always end those with a kiss on the mouth.  I think he already hates it, he always turns away from my kisses!  :)

    Usually on the cheek & head. But I go for her cute lips as well. Can't resist they're cute. I usually get her chin though. lol

    I kiss her all over her face!  :P  Actually now when I make kissy noises in front of her mouth, she opens her mouth wide and leans in for the kiss.  It's the sweetest thing ever.  She also does it to my cheek.

    Rea gets kisses all over including her mouth.  She has just started initiating kisses and I love it--slobbery open mouth and all!

    Most of the time on the cheeks, chin, nose, forehead. head, arms, legs, feet....but lately I have added the lips too.

    i kiss her on the check, mouth and forehead. i am trying to get her to learn to give kisses so when i say give mama a kiss she will open her mouth and lean in for a kiss on the mouth! it's really cute:)

    Mouth. And he kisses back now, big ole sloppy open mouthed and I love it!   The kisses DH gets are obviously much different, not every 'mouth-to-mouth' kiss has to be romantic!

    i cannot see how kiising your baby/child on the mouth and kissing your spouse on the mouth could even be compared. unless you're tounging your kid it's a completely different thing. i think it's sad anyone would be so insecure about this. timmy gets mouth kisses all the time. now i'm not going to do it to a teenage boy, but there is nothing sexual or romantic about me kissing my 7 1/2 month old.

    its funny- growing up I used to do mouth with my mom and for some reason I can't bring myself to do it with DS. MH does mouth. I just do cheeks and forehead.

    this exactly. i say to aidan "kiss!" and if she smiles and gives me her cheek ill kiss her there and then say "one on the lips!" and then she gets a big ol smooch! i would never compare that to my dh LOL

    Why are you assuming that those of us who reserve mouth kisses for romantic relationships are "insecure"? ?I think that's rather ignorant of you. ?And there is nothing romantic or sexual about kissing your 7 month old on the lips, I never said there was. ?I said we save it for romantic relationships ie: husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend etc, not?strictly?for "romance".

    And why is everyone shocked that some of us don't kiss on the lips? ?None of us are saying we're shocked that you DO, kwim??
