Cleaning Dr. Brown's bottles

What do you do? We started using them last week and I've been cleaning the parts by hand. I used the Medela steam bags a few times, but I'm not sure if this gets in all the small crevices. Do you put yours in the dishwasher?

Thanks!

Re: Cleaning Dr. Brown's bottles

  • I haven't used them yet but I got a special dishwasher basket for the Dr. Brown's bottle pieces at BRU so I could throw them in the dishwasher.  They have one for regular and wide mouth bottles so make sure you pay attention and get the right one if you get one.

  • I normally just wash them in hot soapy water.  I boil them after a few uses too.
  • I put the tubes on the spokes in the dishwasher and then put the collar, nipple and wagon wheel vent thing in a Munchkin basket from Target. This way, with the nipples and wagon wheels in the top of the basket and the collars in the bottom, one basket can handle five bottles.

    We do this also.

  • Don't have a dishwasher.  Hand wash everything...
