3. What is planned? Reactions? Yes, it was planned. eta: We were thrilled! I actually found out I was pregnant on my birthday, so it was quite honestly the best birthday present ever! As for other people's reactions, I think most people expected it. : )
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? Managing a toddler and a newborn. So far, things are going smoothly. : )

2. How old with DC be with baby is born? Approximately 16-17 months
3. What is planned? Reactions? Kind of...we were going to start TTC in July, but we weren't taking any preventing precautions. I was a little shocked at first and DH is so excited he has told everyone he has saw.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? DS has been the easiest baby ever, so I am nervous the 2nd one is going to be colicky and cry all the time. I am also nervous about when I return to work whether the 2nd will sleep as well as DS has.

3. Not quite planned, but we knew how things worked when it happened
4. My biggest fear is losing the bond that I currently have with DD...or not forming as close of a bond with DS. Oh yeah, and I am also currently afraid of having to "abandon" DD for a few days to go have DS. Obviously, she won't really be abandoned (my mom is going to come stay with us to help out), but I'm feeling guilty about leaving her for a few days to concentrate on myself and the new baby. I realize it's a pretty good excuse, but I'm still having issues with it!
So happy to see this board and I'm looking forward to chatting w/ you all!

3.Very planned, I would have like them to be right at a year apart if I would have started AF sooner.
3. My biggest fear was BF and now I've settled into a routine.
1. When are you due? 8/15/09, but due to a classical incision with DS and the chance of my uterus rupturing if I go into labor on my own a c-section has been scheduled for 37 weeks on 7/24/09.
2. How old will DC be when baby is born?16 months/12.5 months adjusted
3. Was it planned? Reactions? I was pumped. If we have one more I would actually like to have 3 under 3. Then I am done!!
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? Making sure I can juggle their schedules. I keep having this irrational fear that I will be so concerned about feeding the baby every couple of hours that I will forget to feed DS. Silly....I know.

2. No. We were shocked. It was a bit closer than we had originally wanted, but we're very excited now.

3. What is planned? Reactions? It was. Our first was a wonderful surprise and we wanted our children to be close in age
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? Finances of course... and sleep! #1 is a great sleeper so thats going to be a big adjustment again!

3. Definitely a suprise. We were in shock at first because I like to plan EVERYTHING, and this threw things off a little. But once we got used to the idea, and figured out how we were going to work things out, we were totally excited.
4. Um, there's not enough room here. How am I going to go grocery shopping with two babies? When will I take a shower? How is DS going to sleep at night with a baby crying (probably in the same room)? The list could go on and on.

3. What is planned? Reactions? Not sure I understand this question... but I'm guessing was the pg planned. Yes, we started TTC one month before DD's birthday. We were both surprised that we got a BFP on our first cycle! We are super excited as we've always planned to have our children close together.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? No fears really... Right now I'm having a tough time deciding whether or not to continue working full time after DC #2 is born. I know DH and I will figure it out together

3. What is planned? Yes, but we did not expect it to happen the very first try! Reactions? Mostly positive. It seems to be a growing trend around here to have children pretty close together so we have alot of support.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? Giving birth. My first experience was HORRIBLE. I can go ahead with a c section (up to us) but I really scared about being out of commission even more so. Also, EBFing with a 15 month old running around. I am not sure what to "do" with him while I am nursing and I really want to nurse this next child, too!

3. What is planned? Reactions? kind of. We were planning on trying so we weren't using protection but then decided to put it off (so we avoided around the time I should have ovulated) but alas, it was too late, I ovulated way earlier than normal.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? night feedings when DH is working and I am trying to recover from a c-section and when I go back to work

3. Not exactly... we planned to wait and start trying in the fall, so its just a little earlier than planned. Everyone was very excited for us
4. I won't have a life anymore! Right now I am always on the go with DD, and that will be much harder with a toddler & a newborn.
I'm worried about DD being jealous of the baby b/c she is a total Mama's girl right now. I hope by the time the baby comes she will be a little more indepenent.

The lack of sleep... DD just barely started STTN at 14 months (and since we moved, she's stopped). That and she was colicky, didn't sleep for more then 30 minutes at a time for the first 2.5 months, was a marathon BF, and I hated the NB stage. I'm scared of going through that again and functioning enough to be able to also care for DD#1.
BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

3. We both knew we wanted another and we were planning on actually ttc this month. I am excited and DH is excited now that it has sunk in. I get a lot of "Again?" "So soon?" "You do know how that happens, don't you?"
4. Sleep deprevation. DS was a super good baby, no colic, STTN (7-10 hour stretches) since about 2 weeks old. I am not used to not sleeping.
Time management, making sure both babies are safe and secure at all times are the other ones.

3. Yes and no, We were trying, but had stopped and were going to start in the fall again. I was shocked for sure. Since we weren't really trying at all that month.
4. That it won't be fair to my son, I feel bad that he won't get enough attention and he will act out often.

2. How old with DC be with baby is born? Around 20 months or so. If I deliver on my actual due date, he'll be exactly 20.5 months.
3. What is planned? Reactions? Yes. We had to do IF treatments with both DS and this one, so definitely planned. My reaction started off with excitement and quickly switched over to fear and panic. I'm back to the excitement stage though. DH is just thrilled.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two? I'm an only child and while DH has a brother and all of my friends have siblings, I have never lived in a house with a sibling so I don't know how siblings are supposed to be with one another. Also, while DS #1 is such a laid-back, easy-going little guy and is totally entranced by babies, I'm really afraid he's going to get the short end of the stick for a little bit and begin to feel left out of things. Logically, I know everything is going to work out just fine. I guess it's fear of the unknown.

we're very happy but freaking out. I won't be able to work since child care for two is too expensive. I'm happy to be able to be home with them, but right now my salary pays our mortgage. DH just is going to have to make more money. we've cut out everything we can, so at this point if he doesn't make more, i don't know what we'll do.
my biggest fear is just not being able to handle it. lovey is an amazing baby and i'm hoping the next one is too, but i was really fragile emotionally after lovey was born and i just want to be able to be the best mom possible and not break down crying all the time.

Well we knew that we wanted one more and decided to just see what happens after I quit my full time job. I became pg immediately. It had taken a year to get pg with dd #1 so we were pretty surprised and kind of like, oh sh!t.
4. What is your biggest fear about having two under two?
That DD #1 will accidentally kill DD #2. Haha! She's WILD. She is also very sweet with the baby. I'll just feel a lot better when the baby turns one I think.
Hi! Not currently pg but I became a mom of two under 2 in January...
1. DS was born Jan 13
2. DD was 18 months old (they're now 4.5 and 23 months)
3. I really really hoped and prayed that I'd be pg by DD's first birthday...we wanted to have them close together so I was SO excited to get a BFP in May '08.
4. Before DS was born I wondered how I would share my love between two kids, but now I know you don't have to share...because it doubles
