I got him tickets to the sold-out Phillies father's day game! It will also be the first game for Carter as well! He is going to be soooo excited

DS was born on Father's Day last year so that was DH's first FD. ?And what better gift can he get than the birth of his son right?! ?:) ?Lol. ?I'm hoping to have some pix taken of me and DS by a friend of mine (and I'm going to take pix of her and her girls for her dh) and give him that. ?I already got cards and I plan on using DS's hand print as his "signature" on his card like DH did for me on Mother's Day. ?:)

Last year (when I was prego) I got DH a toolbox that he really wanted. This year I made a video montage of a bunch of pictures of DH and DD, just DD, and videos we have taken of DD. I downloaded different father/daughter songs and found a poem that I absolutely love to put on there as well. I am thinking about doing something else as well... something that DD can "help" with. Maybe a fingerpainting, maybe something with her foot or handprints. I'm not exactly sure yet!

I have a friend's husband that does really neat metal work- so I had him make a customized Red Wings sign for him to put on our wall.

we normally just do a card and maybe a small trinket for the holidays. but he's been wanting a big size gas grill for a while now so we found one at walmart for a great price and picked it up last week. this is his first father's day with ds2, who is biologically his, not that it really makes a difference though.

I'm going all out-- he really did it up for Mother's Day. ?I'm getting him a few business shirts and ties that he loves from me. ?I'm making him a photo album of daddy and DS pics from DS (doing this on my Mac). ?I'm taking him to a play he wants to see the night of Father's Day-- we're going with another couple and will go out for a nice dinner afterwards.

I'm doing a photography theme. I got him a new camera bag, tripod, and speedlite (all recs from nesties!). I'm ordering a picture travel mug and taking DD to a paint-your-own-pottery place for her to decorate a picture frame (both of those for him to have at work). I'm going to pack up a brunch and take him out to the beach so we can eat outside and he can play with his camera stuff.

For Christmas I got DH the hand print mold and made it and he LOVED it.
