Diaper question

I registered for Pampers 180 ct Size 1 diapers but I'm wondering if I should just wait and see what size the baby is and what diapers will work. What would you recommend?

    We bought a lot of diapers beforehand and were really glad that we did.  We bought some newborn, some size 1, more size 2, and a few size 3's.  We have used everything we bought and are still buying!  Oh and we bought pampers and are VERY happy with them.  I will say, that beforehand I didn't know the difference in the kind of Pampers, but we love the Swaddlers, don't really love the Baby Dry:)

    I would say buy a few newborn, and more size 1 and 2. DS went throught newborn quickly, but has been in size 1 for a long time, and now size 2. I had going to buy diapers, so I buy in bulk. I like pampers and luvs, and second that swaddlers are the best.

    you'll use at least 180 size 1s so I think its a safe bet. You use an average of 10 diapers a day so even if you get a lot of other size 1 packs you'd probably use them all. We went through tons of diapers in those early days 1. because DS would pee/poop literally as soon as we changed his diaper and 2. we used the swaddlers with the blue line that indicates the diaper is wet and probably changed a lot of diapers that we never would have known were wet otherwise so we used more.

    We received a lot of newborn diapers at our shower, over 300 and we used them all.  And bought more.  She's in size 1 now but she was in newborn for a couple of weeks, I can't remember when we went up but it was between 4-6 weeks.  I doubt that your baby will need a bigger diaper then size 1 and if they are too big, you can always put them aside for when she grows into them.

    I bought a big box of size1 from just to have something on hand. ?But I was very glad that the hospital gave us a small pkg of newborn ones because the 1s were huge on DD for weeks. ?She just started in on the 1s around 4weeks. ?
