Those with shoe size over 10: Where do you shop?

Is it even remotely possible for me to find affordable shoes now that I'm a 10.5 instead of a 10? I'll be honest - most of my shoes are from Target or Payless. *lol* Now that I'm not only above a 10, but BETWEEN sizes, I feel a little screwed.

Where do I go???

  • I'm up to a 10 right now.. not sure if they will stay this way... ugh.. Anyhoo back to your question.. I found a TON of shoes at the Nordstrom rack in all different price ranges.

  • I really like Sketchers, I own a ton of those.
  • Another vote for Nordstrom Rack. I always cruise the sale rack at Macy's and of course Target. But you are right, they are not good about half sizes. I am worried since I was a 10.5/11 before pg, fingers crossed I don't get any bigger or I might just start looking at skis Sad

  • I'm going to call my sister for you. She's a size 11 and her husband just found a great brand of shoe. Stay tuned...

  • Thanks for the suggestions so far, ladies! Looks like Norstrom Rack is on the must list.

Tiki - Thank you! I'm staying tuned.

  • She said check out the Geox brand or try flip flops.

Doh... I looked up the Geox brand online and it isn't really affordable. I found some better deals on 6pm.com.  Zappos.com has some on sale too.

She also said don't rule out men's running shoes. She likes the Men's Asics brand. I know they are always having sales at Big 5.

  • I'm a 10, 10.5 or an 11, depending on the shoe.....I get most of my shoes from Zappos.  You can search just for your specific size, and the reviews tell you whether they are true to size, a little big or a little small.  AND, most importantly, the returns are free, so if they don't fit, you don't have to pay to ship them back.  I will often order five pairs of shoes, try them all on, and then keep one and send four back.
