Birthday "theme" for boy/girl twins?

Any suggestions for a theme for our first birthday? My attempt to be gender neutral is only leading me to a Sesame Street theme party. They aren't "in" to any show or cartoon, so I am just kind of stumped and need to get a move on it! TIA!

we did a farm theme for DS's 1st - it was SO much fun and so easy to plan b/c there are so many great ideas out there for things to do. It could be for a boy or girl easily.

or jungle theme... etc.

We did a farm theme for the boys but it could so easily go for a girl too. The stuff I got had every color of the rainbow in it.

We are doing Baby Einstein because DH and I would not have survived the year without those DVDs! I also thought about a polka dot theme (blue and pink), a cupcake theme or a monkey/jungle theme (since it certainly is a jungle around here!).

We are doing a bug theme...Dragonflies for Xan, and Butterflies and Ladybugs for Hayden and Lily.

We did Monkeys - Monkey See Monkey Do. It was a lot of fun and there's a ton of Monkey stuff around.

I did cats and dogs since those are their favorite animals. I found lots of cheap decorations,favors etc. I even found streamers that hd paw prints so cute! They each had cake that was the face of cat and dog. My Mom helped make the cakes and we used the same cake pan from Wilton for both cakes.

My b/g twins have a "bug" theme in their nursery (bee for DS and lady bugs for DD) so we did that for their first b-day party, too.

We did a 2-by-2 Noah's Ark theme for their 1st bday and a cowboy/cowgirl them for their 2nd bday. Both turned out really cute.
