Seriously, it is amazing how fast this is going and how fast they are growing! Both our girls are gorgeous!!!!
I hadn't seen the SAHM check-in - I definitely would like to join! I am "supposed" to be working from home PT but it's not working out so great. With my non-sleeping, non-napping girl, I don't have much time to do work. I've put in like 8 hours in the past month, and I was supposed to be doing 10 hours per week.
Do you mostly call your DD Abby? We usually call her Abigail, but seems like we her by one of her many nicknames more than we do by her actual name! Abba, Abs, etc..
I bet it is hard to be a WAHM. I couldnt do it bc I cant figure out how to entertain Abby even when Im right there with her!
I wish I could WAH and make some money. It's so hard on one income and buying formula etc etc...
Ha everyone calls her Abby! I dont know if anyone knows her real name is Abigail! We thought that maybe just we would call her that as a nickname at home but it hasnt worked that way! We call her Abs too! And Abi-girl lol!
Is your Abby crawling or on solids yet?
It's next to impossible lately. I feel bad because I really wanted it to work out but I just never have time. If she does take a nap I have a long list of other things I need to do instead of work, like laundry, dishes, eating, nesting (lol)....
Haha, we use Abi-girl too :-) My mom calls her Abby but she's the only one. I like it! My dad calls her Abba--giggles. It's really cute.
Not crawling yet. She rolls to get what she wants, she doesn't seem too motivated to even try crawling for now. We started solids at 6 months. It's not going great. She's not interested really. It's so hard to get her to open her mouth so i can get the spoon in! We'll keep trying though, I am trying not to stress about it because I don't want it to be a stressful thing for her either. If she doesn't want it, I put it away so we can try later.
When do you think you'll start solids?

We are going to start solids at about 6 months too. Honestly Im not looking forward to it for the samereasons you mentioned...The bottle is so easy!
And of COURSE nesting comes before WORK!
oh gosh, so much. I've missed the past few days but last week Stuart Chandler was killed - they thought it was Adam at first bc they had switched places or something. There were like 4 people trying to kill Adam and one of them shot him (i'm not sure it was clear who actually did it, but Kendall was arrested for it). Stuart's funeral was so sad! And Tad Martin got shot in the head the same night Stuart was shot, but he's ok, just a little weird now. it's funny.And Liza Colby (Adam's ex, Colby's mom?) is back - she wants that girl's baby (whose name I forget, but David Hayward is the father... )
and obviously since it's AMC there's lots more to it. lol!
I was excited for solids bc I thought it would be so fun to see her taste new things but she is so disinterested it's frustrating! I feel like we're behind. Mommy guilt keeps creeping in.
