Just curious. My friend wrote on her FB status: Going to Tara's ABD party.

Anyone know what that stands for? My other friend and I commented on her status like "WTF does ABD mean?"

Hmmm. Did she just get divorced, maybe it stands for After Bad Divorce Party? I have no clue.

it stands for "all but dissertation."

it means she finished grad school, she just has to write and defend her dissertation to become a doctor!
