Not a beer, but when at the beach, I usually come back to the house around supper time, mix a cocktail, sit in the hot tub for an hour, mix another drink, take a shower to get ready for dinner out, mix another drink and get dressed for dinner out. So, yes the cocktail/beer in the shower thing is wonderful.

You keep it on the edge of the tub so it doesn't get wet, and you drink it with your back to the shower. the bottle may get a little splashed but it doesn't go inside! Nothing like a little buzz, and a warm shower. delight!
