For those who christened or are going to did you make your LO wear hat and booties?

I had a hat made, but DS didn't wear it.

No botties, just white socks.

I was thinking of doing the same. Wasnt going to bootie route either. I was thinking of getting her those white socks with the little lace on them. I guess I will have to see how it looks and I can always run out and get them

Nope. Why use a hat when he's just gonna get taken off? And socks/booties/shoes are the fastest ways to make DS scream bloody murder. I think it all depends on your kiddo's temperment and how dressy your church is.

Natalie wore this outfit and booties. The whole thing was home made by a close family friend.

DD's dress came with a bonnet, but she won't be wearing it. No booties either...maybe socks.
