So DH decided that our mattress was finally bad enough that it was time to do something about it. Its 3 y.o. covered by warranty. Well him and his Dad took it over (in the rain and not protected very well) Tuesday. They called yesterday and said they would prefer not to pick it up until Friday but better yet Monday so it doesn't get mildewy. I'm (#&%# 9 months pregnant and I'm sleeping on a #()*&%# air mattress. I realize it was probably better to do this now rather than when we have a newborn but still I just want to scream. That's only the 1st part.

The 2nd part is we got mohawk carpet installed in our bedroom and living room (joined by a door) Sept 07. Well before it was a year old we noticed the fibers pulling out and a hole the size of a baseball. We do have 3 dogs but they don't dig at our carpet so we called since this was still under warranty. We've been fighting with the people we ordered the carpet from until one month ago. Most of the problems weren't their fault and mohawk wasn't very cooperative causing all the problems. So we re-ordered carpet a month ago and of course it was back ordered, it was suppose to come in today. Whether it has we don't know. BUT if it has our carpet guy offered to do it this Tuesday! I'm freakin due FRIDAY and having contractions already. Are you kidding me?!? We have to have people come in and move our furniture and freakin tear our house apart!!! I have to get all my decor out and have a cluttered house for a few days!! GRR! Once again I realize that this is better to do before the baby because it would be even more stressful with a baby but it seems just as stressful not knowing when he's gonna get here and having my house tore apart just days before his arrival!! I'm sure this has to do with all the hard "nesting" work I've done.

    Oh Jess, how frustrating!!! I would NOT be sleeping on an air mattress right now. I'd either be on the couch, or at my mom's house in a real bed. That has to suck.

    And again with the carpet, major suckage there too! I hope you can get it all figured out soon with minimal frustration and aggravation! ((hugs))

    Whoa.  You deserve a medal for putting up with all this nonsense.  And HOW ON EARTH do you manage to sleep on an air mattress?!?!?  How do you get out of it??? 

    Yeah, I get that rationally you know it makes sense to do this stuff now before baby comes, but that all sounds like stressful change to me.
