Hi. Now that it's summer and I'll be outside with DD quite a bit (at the park, etc) I'd like to start reading more. So please recommend your summer reads. I normally read legal dramas (think John Grisham, John Lescroart), true crime, and biographies, however I'm open to all genres. I've also read the Harry Potter series. So if that helps you make a recommendation, great.
TIA.
Re: NTR: Readers come in! Need recommendations.
Twilight series is a great no thinking easy summer read. Janet Evanovich - the Stephanie Plum series is fun. I think there are 14 books now. That was my summer read last year.
Biography, but really entertaining: Jen Lancaster's book are hilarious. Chelsea Handler "Are you there Vodka, It's Me Chelsea" was funny.
Twilight series or the Outlander series.

Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Funny Easy reading I just finished Mommywood by Tori Spelling
Time Traveler's Wife, which is coming out as a movie - it's suuuper good! And Atonement by Ian McEwan, very sad, but also good.
Other than that, I got nothing. All I read anymore is cookbooks and blogs, ha ha ha.
DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)
You'll love the Mitch Rapp series by Vince FLynn then..
Executive Power
Transfer of Power
The Third Option
love that stuff!
I love, love, love Jody Picoult. Everything I've read has been good, my favorite was 19 minutes but I just finished Second Glance and it was really good too.
I also like crime books and have read a few Tami Hoag. They were also good.
Ditto the Southern Vampire series (I think that the author is Charlaine Harris).
On the Harry Potter vein, the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series is amazing ( author is Michael Scott)
I'm reading The Red Tent by Anita Diamant.
It's historical fiction, following the life of Dinah, daughter of Jacob and sister of Joseph (of the technicolor dream coat, lol). Highly recommend it.
DH just finished this. He loved it. He also loves James Elroy (author of LA Confidential among others)
