Just for clarification, I'm not trying to "stir the pot" (as Michelle would say ;-) I'm just trying to figure out if I'm going to keep my hospital rental pump for another month or not :-)
I think we use a can every 1-1.5 weeks. so i think we are at least spending $75. we tried generic recently and it didn't sit well with jax. he uses isomil and the generic is slightly different. i'd hoped it wouldn't be a big deal, but it was. that would have saved me about $30/month. DANG IT!!
It's definitely over $70. I buy Similac Sensitive from BJ's and it's $30 a container and Jack goes through one container per week.
After ready what everyone had to say about Target's brand of formula, I'm now curious. I may buy some to see how he handles it and maybe switch to that brand. It would be nice to save some money.
we used the publix brand of formula for a couple of months with Finn....we have a friend who works in the baby food biz and he said it is the exact same thing as similac blue can which was what we had been using for Finn but cut our costs almost in half when we switched and had no issues. just an FYI. I can' remember how much we spent though, sorry, just trying to help on the generic potential!
Re: FF mommies ??
