Babies: 0 - 3 Months
4 month wakeful a month early?! wth help!
Usually J is only up once or twice during the night to eat. It's beent this way for about 2 months. Well since Monday night he's been getting up 5-6 times per night. Sometimes 30-45 minutes after we put him back to sleep. Is it possible that he could be hungry all these times? I don't want to just stick a bottle in his mouth but I'm at my wits end.
He usually goes right back to sleep after his nightly bottle and he won't anymore. I rock him and he's out like a light but as soon as he hits the crib he starts crying. Ugh any idea what this is?

i would try to put him in his crib drowsy but awake and see if that makes a difference. ?try it for naps during the day and then work on doing it at night.
also, babies go into a deep REM sleep first, coming out of it 45 minutes after they first fall asleep. ?so it could be that he's entering a lighter sleep around that mark that he's waking up. ?try just going into to soothe him. ?pat and rub his belly, shush him, let him know he's okay. ??
Really? Every other growth spurt he eats like crazy and sleeps. He's not eating much and not sleeping this time!
The 3 month growth spurt was hell for us. He never really slept like crazy during growth spurts it seems.
