I'd call your pedi. I wasn't "allowed" to give DD tylenol until she was 10 weeks old.
If she needed it for anything she had to be seen in the office first and they would administer the meds there.
The pedi said they do it to help curb the overdosing a lot of parents have been doing because it's hard to get an accurate dose if you don't know your childs exact weight.
DD was 12lbs.4oz. and was given 8 units of whatever the measurement is. mL maybe?? However, this was given by the doctor (before her 2month shots). I would definitely call and ask a professional!
