Mama Bear instinct

Does anyone here feel like their protective instincts are all ready kicking in?  I feel like I am going to rip people to shreds when they don't think it is important to wash their hands before they touch my little one, or if they just smoked and want to hold my baby.  The comment my MIL made about wanting an extra base to my baby's car seat so she can drive him around and show him off made me want to strangle her!  Is this crazy and irrational.  I feel like a crazy person!

    normal... i feel the same way. ?We're naming our son Marco, and every time someone says "polo" we jump their ***! ?Also feel the same way about mom and MIL's ideas of how the baby should be... uhhh!

    I've gotten really protective of my bump.  I keep saying, "Okay, but be careful not to bump my belly."  I think I'll be very protective of him.  It will be interesting...

    Nah...I think I might be a little annoyed if my MIL was already making plans to drive my LO around w/o me: sounds totally normal, IMO!?

    I think I may have already wrote you on another message that my DH's name is Marco.  He gets that all the time.  It is obnoxious!!!!!  He handles it really well though.  He looks at the  person dead in the eye and says, do you honestly think that I have never heard that before?  My husband is a really dark scary Italian man LOL (really he can look really mean when he is serious).  Everyone responds with a "uhh, sorry man"  So funny!

    I get like that. I dont know why, but I also get annoyed when my mom refers to the baby as our baby, like, "How is our baby doing?" I want to say, it's MY baby, but I figure that would hurt feelings so I dont. But it rubs me the wrong way for some reason.
