Infertility

I'm not very optomistic

AF was weird this cycle, showing up 10 days early and was very light. My dr said to start Clomid 5 days from the start of the spotting/light AF. I started it Friday. I woke up today with a little spotting again. WHY can't my first medicated cycle be clear cut??? I am so frustrated right now. Plus I've been sick so my temps have been way off. I hope they get back to normal to determine whether or not I have O'd. Plus I woke up and forgot to POAS for my CBEFM.

Ugh then I signed onto Facebook and there were babies EVERYWHERE. It seems like everyone wanted to post their babies today. I felt like crying. Especially when I saw some of the "oops" babies that were posted. It seemed like they had it out to get me today or something.

ETA- Oh and today is one of my favorite holidays and I really look forward to it, but I know I will go to my parents' picnic and hear just how adorable my niece is (another BIG oops) and people talking about another new baby that was born.

Sorry... I just needed to vent for a little. I am so frustrated.

  • I am so sorry. My periods usually last 8 days (sometimes longer), so when I take Clomid on days 5 - 9 I still have my period. If you are still having concerns on Tuesday morning, call your doctor. Until then, just remember that you just started taking the Clomid and it needs time to work.

:) Thanks... Mine usually lasts around 7-10 days (ugh!) but it came 10 days early and was pretty light. My guess is that it came early because of the HSG I had a week prior and it was light because there wasn't much buildup in there yet. My dr seemed to think it was normal, so I'm going to try to be more optomistic.

  • Sorry that your having a rough day.  FB doesn't help either.  There were a bunch of new pictures today from everyone's festivities yesterday hanging out with their kids.  It hard.
  • This makes me so glad I don't even go on FB!!  I'm sorry you are having to deal with it all today.  I just hate how this makes us feel around holidays and events that we would usually enjoy to the fullest!   I just keep hoping that someday it'll be my turn and yours too!!
