BF question: breasts feel generally achy...?

Is it normal for my breast just to feel generally achy and tender? I tried icing after nursing and taking. Ibuprofen. Is something wrong?

    It's hard for me to know b/c at 2 weeks pp DD wasn't sucking correctly and I was pumping with the suction too high, so my nipples and boobs were a wreck.  I have heard women say that the first couple of weeks there is soreness, but it will dissipate.  You know your body best - if you think something is off, go see a LC.

    mine felt achy ALL the time!  i would get specific spots that would feel more achy than others, but not mastisis.  it never went away for me and i stoped BF'ing at 8 weeks.

    I had that same general achiness for the first few weeks - also they ache after he has nursed for a long time and they are "empty".

    I alternated ice and heat and took Motrin.  It will get better after a few weeks.
