who got nubaine during delivery?

and who hated it!?  ME, ME, ME!!!!

it was nice because it took the edge off, but i TOLD the nurse i didn't want something that would make me hazy.  needless to say, she gave me the nubaine and i was a straight up drunk for hours.  i hated it.

    i got nubaine since i wasn't dialating and I LOVED it since I woke up the next morning and when they checked me I was 8cm!  I can't complain!  I fell right asleep!

    I got the nubaine and promptly told DH that I would like to take some extra home with me so I could be happy always.  I loved it!  I had horrible back labor and was put on pitocin to help since I was not progressing.  Though I could still feel all of the pain, I really didn't care.  You could have cut my leg off and I would have been ok with it.

    I had nubaine in the beginning of my pregnancy for pain relief for something unrelated to pregnancy, but since I was pregnant nubaine was the safest thing for them to give me in the ER, it was HORRIBLE, i had a reaction to it and broke out in hives and felt drunk for hours and I mean like 8 hours

    So, I did not take nubaine while in labor because I knew what would happen, I had Morphine during labor which pretty much sucked, did nothing for pain but at least I felt like myself and not like someone who just left the mexican restaurant after 5 margaritas

    I asked for something until they could get down with the epi, nubaine is what I got.  I HATED it!!  Never again will I take that.

    I got nubaine and finagrin( sp?) while waiting on an epi. They gave me finagrin b/c I was throwing up. After I got the epi while the other drugs were still in my system I fell asleep at 4.5 cm and woke up 2 hrs later ready to push. I liked being that relaxed but when it came time to push I was pretty much asleep between pushes and my regret is that I felt foggy during the delivery and a little after.
