He just made a yummy dinner that was pretty healthy - a stir fry!
Grilled and seasoned chicken, French fingerling potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, celery, green onions, and broccoli, served over brown rice in a black pepper garlic sauce. Yummmmmm! ?
Why is your husband amazing??
?
Re: My husband rocks. Does yours?
9 inches.
Lol. Kidding.
My Blog
He just graciously hung a MASSIVE mirror above our fireplace for me. I know he didn't want to do it, and he did. And it looks effing amazing!
LOL @ ABM!!! I like that answer!
My DH cleaned the kitchen while I was putting DD to sleep. He usually picks up dinner dishes and puts away the leftovers, but tonight he cleaned the counters, stove, swept the floor, and then he picked up DD's toys from the livingroom and put them away. He definately rocks
Nope
I am so happy that he is being so open and is also letting you have some 'me' time! :O)?
Ditto this.
And I love this post :O) I love seeing positive posts about husbands.
?
LOL
My DH is awesome b/c he's an amazing father, husband and friend. He spoils me when I need it, and tells me I'm being a brat when I need to hear that sometimes.
He leaves for work at 6:30am, but makes me breakfast AND lunch before he goes, and leaves it in the fridge for me. Then makes us dinner when he gets home. Every day.
He's pretty great.
(Oops... double-posted.)
Oooh, this. Minus the breakfast, because he gets up at 3AM for work :O) ?
Duh he is amazing because he married me lol?
No seriously he works his butt of working 60+ hours a week so I can be a SAHM. ?He also takes online classes to finish his degree so we can have a better life. ?He loves me, Brendan and just in general is a great guy.?
I also have to agree with both you ladies. My DH is amazing, period. I love seeing good posts about DHs because sometimes it seems like we (as a board) only vent and never give them credit for the good things they do.
My husband literally rocks - he was the lead singer in a really cool band for a long time (but is now semi-retired.)
"When it comes to sleeping, whatever your baby does is normal. If one thing has damaged parents enjoyment of their babies, it's rigid expectations about how and when the baby should sleep." ~ James McKenna, Ph.D., Mother Baby Behavioral Sleep Center, University of Notre Dame
He tells me a zillion times a day that he loves me....he makes DD laugh or smile every time she sees him....and he's always willing to run out and get some yummy wine for me, even in the pouring rain. :-)
Haha, MINE TOO!
Okay this makes me feel SO much less lazy.
Geesh, kel the only things mine will cook are omelets and corndogs! Unless it's on the grill. He has cooked 3x on the grill this week, all I had to do was prep, so that was nice.
Yes he does rock. He has had moments of total suckage, but he's generally pretty awesome. He has 2 pt "jobs" so that I can SAH - he's in the guard and goes to school. He rarely buys anything for himself and tells me to go get things for me and DD all the time.
He makes and serves me coffee every morning.
He gives back rubs without prompting.
He always is telling me that he loves me.
Just a few things that makes him awesome.
Gawd, more reasons than I could list out here. I'm a b!tch and he says I'm a piece of cake. He's an awesome cook. The best dad I've ever known. (Yes, including my own.) Has depths of patience that are seemingly unhuman. But more than anything, has shown me that there are still people left in the world worthy of absolute trust.
My silly Lily is almost 4.
my husband is amazing because:
he played with DS while i napped today. while i was at the dr, he cleaned the house. two weeks ago he brought me an apple pie, and i still haven't gotten over it.
