My husband rocks. Does yours?

He just made a yummy dinner that was pretty healthy - a stir fry!

Grilled and seasoned chicken, French fingerling potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, celery, green onions, and broccoli, served over brown rice in a black pepper garlic sauce. Yummmmmm! ?

Why is your husband amazing??

?

  • He rocks big time today. ?He's been out of town since Saturday and he treated me today to our nanny for a few hours so that I could go to the spa for some treatments before our vacation this weekend. ?
  • The mood I've been in tonight, I'll have to say he rocks just for putting up with me and still wanting a kiss goodnight....

  • Mine made me a margarita. Now I'm totally drunk. YAY.
  • He just graciously hung a MASSIVE mirror above our fireplace for me. I know he didn't want to do it, and he did. And it looks effing amazing!

LOL @ ABM!!! I like that answer!

  • My DH cleaned the kitchen while I was putting DD to sleep. He usually picks up dinner dishes and puts away the leftovers, but tonight he cleaned the counters, stove, swept the floor, and then he picked up DD's toys from the livingroom and put them away. He definately rocks :)

  • Mine rocks my socks.  He has welcomed cloth diapering with open arms and is actively participating!  He has done the whole bedtime routine for two nights in a row after long days at work in order for me to go out and have some "me" time.
  • He does whatever I ask without complaint and is pretty perceptive about the things I don't openly ask for. He's a saint. Period!

Mine is amazing in too many ways to count.  He's a hands on dad and a supportive partner.  And he makes me laugh like crazy.
  • He works REALLY hard and then comes home and always helps with DD. He is SO great with her too. I PPH him.

My DH is awesome b/c he's an amazing father, husband and friend. He spoils me when I need it, and tells me I'm being a brat when I need to hear that sometimes.

He leaves for work at 6:30am, but makes me breakfast AND lunch before he goes, and leaves it in the fridge for me. Then makes us dinner when he gets home. Every day.

    He's pretty great. :)

  • Eh, most of the time. I'll AW the playroom he built for asher, having never built anything in his life. It was a gross dirty boiler room in the basement of our 100 year old house. He framed walls, closet, built ins, window, drywall, plaster, paint, trim, etc, etc. It took him a long time, but i am so frigging impressed!!! I'll take pictures one of these days and AW it on here.

Oooh, this. Minus the breakfast, because he gets up at 3AM for work :O) ?

  • Yes!!! He makes me dinner every night and helps out sooo much, even after a long day at work! He is giving dd a bath right now! Im am glad about that because she learned how to splash in the water...and it gets EVERYWHERE! haha

  • Duh he is amazing because he married me lol?

No seriously he works his butt of working 60+ hours a week so I can be a SAHM. ?He also takes online classes to finish his degree so we can have a better life. ?He loves me, Brendan and just in general is a great guy.?

  • Yes! He works, cooks, cleans, does outside work and helps take care of DD. I should add that I also do all of these things, not that he does everything and I do nothing, LOL.

I also have to agree with both you ladies. My DH is amazing, period. I love seeing good posts about DHs because sometimes it seems like we (as a board) only vent and never give them credit for the good things they do. :)

  • My husband literally rocks - he was the lead singer in a really cool band for a long time (but is now semi-retired.)

    Wheee!

  • He tells me a zillion times a day that he loves me....he makes DD laugh or smile every time she sees him....and he's always willing to run out and get some yummy wine for me, even in the pouring rain.  :-)

Mine is a good cook, a good listener, responsible, encourages me (even though he thinks my field is boring) and has an interesting perspective on things.
  • He thinks I'm perfect just the way I am (i.e. - my cellulite is "cute") AND he does ALL the laundry.
  • Geesh, kel the only things mine will cook are omelets and corndogs! Unless it's on the grill. He has cooked 3x on the grill this week, all I had to do was prep, so that was nice.

Yes he does rock. He has had moments of total suckage, but he's generally pretty awesome. He has 2 pt "jobs" so that I can SAH - he's in the guard and goes to school. He rarely buys anything for himself and tells me to go get things for me and DD all the time.

  • He makes and serves me coffee every morning.

He gives back rubs without prompting.

He always is telling me that he loves me.

Just a few things that makes him awesome.

  • Mine is also an amazing cook - made me homemade pad thai this week, yum.  He also is the laundry king! I could go on and on.

  • Gawd, more reasons than I could list out here. I'm a b!tch and he says I'm a piece of cake. He's an awesome cook. The best dad I've ever known. (Yes, including my own.) Has depths of patience that are seemingly unhuman. But more than anything, has shown me that there are still people left in the world worthy of absolute trust.

  • my husband is amazing because:

he played with DS while i napped today.  while i was at the dr, he cleaned the house.  two weeks ago he brought me an apple pie, and i still haven't gotten over it. :)

  • He makes dinner every night.  It's part of his mission to avoid paying for any formula.  I nurse DD while he makes dinner.
  • Yup. He went to work, called on his way home to see if I needed anything, hooked himself up with a plate of leftovers, brought up the laundry, took the baby for a walk while I folded and grazed, made another attempt to feed the baby (mine failed miserably), gave him a bath, put him to bed and came downstairs asking what else he could do to help-we're going out of town in the morning-and helped me match socks (I hate matching socks!) and finish packing. Yup. He rocks. Always does.
  • My husband is the shiznit because he loves me so much. He got me a Jamba Juice card and a Starbucks card for Mother's Day.?
