Mothers of chubby babies, come on in!

I am looking for shorts and pants that are good for chunky baby thighs. We have some Circo brand shorts, but I feel like they cut in too deeply into his gut, and others we've tried seem skin tight. What brands do you recommend?

I just bought up a size. DD is chubby and I also CD which needs a bit of extra room. They're easier than pants cause if they are a little long, its no big deal.

I wish I knew. I've got a chubby cloth diapered baby so her butt is huge! I've had a lot of luck with the cotton rompers made by carters. And basically have bought her a lot of dresses. Of course that helps you none with a DS. I was looking at shorts in Target the other day and thought they looked really short, I wouldn't be able to pull them up all the way. So her diaper would be hanging out, gansta style Big Smile

Charleigh has a lot of hand me downs from Childrens Place and Gymboree that are size 6-12 months that seem to fit her great. If I buy anything from Target I try to go a size or so bigger bc her thighs are sooo chunky. The sad part is that by the time they fit her thighs the waist is hanging off of her! (this is the same thing that happens when I buy clothes for myself!! damn these big thighs and arse!)

We have a Carter's outlet nearby so I stocked up on Carter's clothes for my DS for the summer. Their sizing seems to be accurate to the weight they list on the tag. Otherwise, maybe you can go up a size?
