TTC After a Loss

Red Raspberry Leaf to help rebuild uterine lining?

I just had my 1st AF since my D/C - it was a bit lighter then usual and was a day shorter, only about 3 days.  I don't plan on TTC until after my next cycle, but I'm wondering if any of you ladies have been taking anything that would help to thicken your uterine lining? I've read that taking red raspberry leaf helps, is this true? I guess it doesn't hurt to try? TIA Ladies!!! :-)

  • I hadn't heard about anything, but this makes me want to research it. I'm willing to try anything natural. You're right... it can't hurt.

  • I was thinking about starting the red raspberry leaf tea for my next cycle if I hadn't gotten my bfp- I read that it really does help to build the uterine lining- and like you two, I am all for anything natural that might help! GL!

  • Yes I have read that it does help. I did buy the tea when I was on clomid but the clomid thinned my lining so much that I dont think the tea could really help at that point. Good luck. I also read that drinking Pomegrante juice helps too.

  • Here are some things you can do to thicken your uterine lining:

Vitex - 1,000 mg daily, it's supposed to be better than B6.  Combine Vitex with Red Raspberry for LPD. Red Raspberry - 1,000 mg daily.  Strengthens the uterine lining.  Combine RR with Vitex or B6 for LPD. B6 - 100 mg daily.  Take it at the same time as your multi or prenatal vitamin.   It is used to lengthen the LP.  Combine with Red Raspberry.  If you don't like Vitex, try B6. Progesterone - your dr can prescribe this. FertileCM - supports a healthy uterine lining, among things Accupunture - helps improve blood flow to build a stronger uterine lining Fertilaid - this is available for both men and women, includes vitamins and supplements needed to conceive.  Includes Vitex. Fertilitea - includes ingredients needed to promote fertility, includes Vitex.

  • I have been drinking rrlt in the morning instead of my reg. cup of coffee.  (I have decided to ditch caffinated drinks)  I can't say for sure if it has helped because I'm not being monitored or anything but I choose to think it is helping.  If you google it there is a ton of info. on it. Smile

  • I have an endometrial defect/lining issues and took: Vitex, False Unicorn Root, and Dong Quai. I did also drink 1-2 cups of RRL tea day and I'm on progesterone and baby aspirin as well. I'm not sure what worked but we did get a bfp this cycle so hoping it will be our sticky one. I've also heard "Lady's Health Decoction" and "Welcome Womb" are good ones that have the herbs already blended for you. Good luck!!
