Mr Clean Magic Sponge

Anyone know what the hell that is? My mom INSISTED on giving us one and shockingly it really is like an eraser - but it weirds me out. I mean, I feel like anything that says "Mr. Clean" is soooo wrong.

In other news though - I got a 4 pack of microfiber cleaning clothes at Target for $10 - each one has a different texture and color meant for different applications. They weren't kidding - they are amazing!

    I'm interested to see what other people say.  I have no idea what it actually is, but I have to admit that I'll occasionally buy one for our stupid textured bathtub and it really is magical.

    My understanding is that it's just like a microfiber towel, but instead of holding together it crumbles apart.  The crumbling lets the smaller fibers get into small crevices, etc.

    I use one too for my bathtub and always wondered what it was also. ?I justified using it by saying that I didn't need any type of cleaner to get all the soap scum off, just the sponge and water. :) ?

    Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a sponge with very, very, very fine sandpaper. 

    This is why you never scrub your skin (duh, but people have done it).  And if you have anything that scratches really easy you don't want to use it on that.  If you scrub a wall with paint it will take the paint off. 

    ETA: At least that is what I have always heard
